Teriyaki Chicken Wings & Beers tonight so let’s do some quick & easy homemade cooking using local cypriot brands like the new Hungry Labels marinades available from Foodhaus Stores
Going to be using the 270gr Teriyaki Marinade on some chicken wings. Other flavours include Sweet BBQ, Mexican, Cypriot, Greek & Mediterranean marinades.
Ingredients
1 kg Chicken wings or other pieces
1 Hungry Labels Teriyaki Marinade
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder or cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
Empty 90gr of Hungry Labels Teriyaki Marinade into a large bowl, this is enough for 1kg of meat.
Add chili flakes (optional) and stir.
And your defrosted chicken wings and mix in the marinade thoroughly.
Cover the bowl with cling film and place in fridge for 3-4 hours to soak in the marinade.
Now spread flour on a tray, add baking powder, salt, more chili flakes if desired and a dash of marinade juice.
Take your wings from the fridge, and coat each wing generously with the flour mix.
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry wings for 6 minutes on each side. Add just enough oil to shallow fry the wings.
Now place them wide apart on a baking tray, and place in a pre-heated oven of 180 degrees Celsius, and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and enjoy with a nice cold beer!
